Chub machines, also referred to as clippers, are used in various food processing industries. One example in the meat industry is when these machines are used in conjunction with a vacuum stuffer to clip chubs of product that are portioned into bags or sleeves. Depending on the machine, you can utilize a chub clipper to make metal crimps at the end of bags to enhance automation in your processing. Automated single and double clippers make a 24V connection to your vacuum stuffer to make the clip after a specific portion has been filled through the stuffer.
